Region Conference SANMAAM 2013

Lions Club Bagha Purana was honoured at Welkin Garden Moga on 31 st March 2013with following awards in the Region Conference SANMAAN 2013;The Club working with team work of lions was awarded as 3rd best club in the region.The President of the club Lion Jaswant Rai Arora was honoured with award of 3rd best President Lion Navdeep Sharma as 2nd best secretary and Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi as 2nd best cashier.The working of the  club was appreciated by the DG/VDG/RC in the conference,The President lion  Jaswant Arora who was abroad in Canada sent wishes to the club members on achieving the awrds, He congratulated all the members for their services rendered to lionism.

LC BPA 27 th Eye camp on 21 st Feb At Bagha Purana

Lions Club Bagha Purana who is conducting eye camps in the lionism history organised its 27th eye camp at Janta Dharamshalla Bagha Purana on 21st Feb 2013 ,LC organised its 26th eye camp on Dec 2,2012 in which 100 cataracts operations were carried out at Lions Eye care Centre Jaito.Lions eye camp orgained today 21st Feb was its 2nd eye camp in the current year under the dynamic leadership of lion Pmjf Harish Dua DG 321-f. Dr Niti Garg of Lions Eye Care Centre Jaito and her team conducted the checking of the people in the camp.Lion Jaswinder Singh Advocate in the presence of Lion Jaswant Arora President LC, Lion Dr Navdeep Sharma Secy LC,Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi Cashier,Lion mjf Dr M L Setia,Lion Dr V C Luthra,Lion Dr Baljit Singh, Lion Kulwant Kanda,Lion Gian Mittal ,Lion Nirbhai singh.Lion Subash Mittal,Lion Vipin Garg,Lion Sant Ram Bhandari,Lion Bitty Kataria,Lion Harbans Singh Brar and other lion members inagurated the camp by cutting of Ribbon and donated donation to the camp.Lion Jaswant Arora and his team thanked lion Jaswinder Singh Advocate.The Dr team conducted OPD of 500 patients in which 65 cases were detected for cataracts operations.These patients will be operated at Lions Eye care Centre Jaito.Club had made all arrangements for transpotation,free food for them and free medicines.Lion Subash Mittal,Lion Sukhmander Singh,Lion Vipin garg chairpersons of the eye camp will look after the patients untill the whole process is over.Lions are giving remarkable services to the projects under taken under the guidance of ion Jaswant Arora President LC and his team.Local Amrik Lab conducted free test of the patients in the camp.Aman Jassal opticals gave their free services for eye sight etc,Lions thanked both for giving continous services to the club.

26 Jan Republic day Celebration

Lions Club BPA celebrated republic day 26 th Jan at Shaheed Bhaghat Singh Chownk Bagha Purana. Lions under the leadership of lion Jaswant Arora President LC gathered and cecebrated 26 th Jan by adopting the pledge to serve lionism throughout.Lions Joined Lion Mjf Dr M L setia,Lion Dr Navdeep Sharma Secretary,Lion Dr V C Luthra,Lion Dr Baljit Singh, Lion Pawann Thukral,Lion Kulwant Kanda,Lion Nirbhai Singh,Lion Harbans Brar,Lion Sukhmander Singh,Lion Sant Ram Bhandari,Lion Jagrop Singh Jassi Cashier LC. Lions on the day said they r committed towards lionism and work on the policy WE TO SERVE as directed by founder of the lionsim Melvin Jon.Laddus were distributed after garlanding statue of Sh Bhaghat Singh.

Lion Naresh Aggarwal Past International Director and Board appointee visted Lions Club Bagha Purana to day 23 Jan 2013.He was accompanied by Lion Pmjf Harish Dua DG, Lion Mjf Ravi Goyal  VDG II, ,Lion Yogesh Soni RC I from LDH Lion  Ravinder Parkash Goyal(RAVI) PDG,Lion Virinder Monga ZC LC Faridkot .He alongwith DG/VDG II/VDG/RC was given a warm welcome by President Lion Jaswant Rai Arora and his team with lion members Lion mjf Dr M L setia.,Lion Dr Navdeep Sharma,Lion Nirbhai Singh,Lion Dr V C Luthra,Lion Harbans Singh Brar.Lion Sant Ram Bhandari.Lion Bitty Kataria ,Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal, Lion Gauri Shanker,Lion Subash Mittal,Lion Sukhmander Singh,Lion Ashwani Sharma.He was briefed the projects organised by the club and he apprecited the working of the lions Club and directed to  continue the services to keep lionism up. Lions Club Installation 19 December 2012

Lion Club Bagha Purana club ceremony year 2012-13 was held on 19 December 2012.Lion Pmjf Harish Dua DG Distt 321-F was the chief guest who joined the ceremony,He was greeted alongwith Lion mjf Rajeev Goyal VDG-II,Lion Ravinder Parkash(Ravi) Goyal PDG and lion Virender Chawla from LC FDK by the Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal President LC 2011-12 and Lion Jaswant Rai Arora  President LC alongwith his team members at Mohindra Palace at the  scheduled time.As per tradition of lionism the ceremony was performed opening of the installation.The Chief guest and other guests along with officers of LC joined the stage as per protocol.Lion Dr Navdeep Sharma Secy LC briefed report of the club which was appreciated by the dignities on the dais off the dais.Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal IPP handedover the chage to Lion Jaswant Rai Arora in the presence of the Distt.Governor.Lion Jaswant Arora taking over the charge assured that he will do as per direction of the Distt, to keep the lionsm up.Lion Pmjf Harish Dua in his adddress congratulated the new team and assured full support from their side in all the projects to be done from time ti time.He briefed the achievements of the club year 2011-12 under leadeship of Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal as the club did a wonderfull projects in the tenure and earned huge awards in various fields..
