LC BPA 11 TH UMEED on 28th MARCH 2012

LC Bagha Purana organised its 11 th UMEED project to day 28 th March on the birth day of Lion PMJF Lion KK VERMA PDG. Lion Club donated atta to Kushat Asharm Moga.The Kushat ashram management recd the atta and thanked the lions club for this noble cause. Kushat Rogies togather and their families too thanked the club.The atta donated was sponsored by lion member of the club Lion Harbans Singh Brar of Mohindera Palace. Lion Dr VC luthra secy. told that the club has served to 1o poorest families under this project Umeed. The club as per their schedule will arrange 2 more Umeed projects in next two months as such club will achieve its target fixed for the year 2011-12 as per direction of DG Lion Mjf Preet Kanwal Singh.Lion Sukhmander Singh Zone Chairperson,Lion Jaswant Rai Arora President 2012-13,Lion Mjf Surinder Jaidka,Lion Harbans Singh Brar,Lion Dr V C Luthra joined the umeed project and wished lion Pmjf KK VERMA happy birth day .

FREE MEDICA:L CANCER CHECK UP CAMP 24 MARCH 2012

Lions Club Bagha Purana organised free medical(Cancer) check up camp to day 24 th march at Springfield Convent School Bagha Purana .This camp was arranged by lion Nar Singh Brar chairman of the school .Global Cancer Concern India Doctor team Dr Surinder Kumar (MBBS)and Doctor Damandeep Aggarwal (Physician) and their team conducted the camp. THey checked 150 male and 150 females in the camp. Sh.Sukhdev Gill Dy . Director Global Cancer Concern India told the preventive measures of cancer and told the precautions to be observed regarding cancer.Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal President Lions Club,Lion DR V C Luthra secy thanked the doctors who conducted the camp and requested to organise such more camps for the welfare of general public. Lion Nar Singh Brar who initiated the camp was honoured by the lions club BPA for this. Lion Mjf Surinder Jaidka,Lion Sant Ram Bhandari Lion Jagroop Jassi,Lion Nirbhai Singh Lion Dr Navdeep Sharma,S.Dial Singh President school.Principal of school were present in the camp.In the end S Dial Singh President Springfield convent school thanked doctor team and lions club members for the camp.

Lc Bpa held its general body meeting on 17th March at Mohindera Palace to form new team for 2012-13.Lion DR V C Luthra secy briefed the projects organised in the current year.He told the club achieved 12 award at JASHAN 2012 at Moga Region conference region X. L C Bpa was declared as the best club in the region it was seen by the lion members who attended Jashan 2012.Ist Best President,Ist Best PRO,2nd best secy,3rd best cashier award were recd by our club.Best Projects award ,lion of the year ,best club appreciation award ,shining star of region ,Best scrap Book,Best Banner award were also recd by the club.Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal thanked all the members for this achievments

Lion Sukhmander Singh membership chairperson .House approved lion Subash Monga as lion tamer lion DP Bansal as tail twister.As such the team was formed ,Lions present in the house congratulated all the new members.Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal outgoing President assured the new team full co- opration by him and his team.Lion Jaswant Aroea in his brief speach thanked all the lions he said he with the co operation of his team and lion members will do hard work to keep the status of the lions club up.He will do all the projects for the welfare of poor and public keeping lionism in his mind.In the end new team was garlanded by all the members and officials of the club. Light dinner was enjoyed by the members after National Anthem.

LC BPA achievements in Region Conference Region X JASHAN 2012 on 11 th March 2012

JASHAN 2012 Lions Region X conference comprising various lions clubs under this was organised on 11th March by Region Chairperson Lion Avtar Singh Daudhar.Lion Clubs Daudhar,Bagha Purana,Nihal Singh Wala ,Moga Vishal,Moga city ,Kot Kapura Royal Jagraon Midtown ,Jagraon ,Badhni ,Moga Central,attended the conference.The members accompanied by their family members enjoyed the conference.Chief guest Lion Mjf Preet Kanwal Singh his wife with Ist lion lady Governor Satvinder Kaur and District Cabinet Secretary Lion MJF Devinder Gupta well reached in time.The Baby JASHAN read the invocation immediately after the bell of Lion Avtar Singh.She read the invocation in such a sweet voice and verbally which was praised by all the lions attending the conference. PDG ,IST VDG Lion pmjf Harish Dua and contesting candidates for the post of VDG II attended the conference.MOC lions on the stage who performed their duty well in a better way and every lion was satisfied with their functions. Zone Chairpersons under region X joined and enjoyed the function which was managed by Lion Vipin Bansal in a very good manner.The WELKIN walls were fully covered by the banners of various projects organised by the clubs during the current year 2011-12. All walls were projecting the works done by the lions clubs for the welfare of public which is the motto of lions.Project Umeed,,Pahul,Mass Marriage ceremonies,Van Utsav,Stationery to poor students,Dental Camps,Jerssies,blankets,global warming,saving of water,pollution free atmosphere,transport ,cancer awareness ,bharun hatya were well seen on the walls.Scrap Books were prepared by the clubs and was presented for demonstration of projects and news etc to the audience attending the function. As per norms of the conference clubs were honoured for their work in various fields and officers of the clubs were honoured with momento awards. The Region PRO Lion Pawan Goyal from LC N S WALA did a wonderful job ,He dispalayed all clubs work under his region on the flexies which were highlighting the works done by the clubs.This was praised by all the members on this wonderful planning.The audience also enjoyed the singer songs a part of entertainment.The RC briefed the work done by the clubs.All clubs did a very good job he told in his brief report.VDG and candidates appealed for voting in their favour in the coming elections at Manali.DGLion Mjf Preet Kanwal Singh praised the working of clubs under region X. The clubs their officers were honoured for their work to boost the lionism as it is done every year,It gives moral energy to lions to work hard for lionism.Lions Club Bagha Purana was honoured with 12 awards by the DG/RC/ZC .Lions club BPA President Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal was honoured as Ist Best President in the region,Lion Dr V C Luthra Secy LC BPA was honoured as 2nd best secy,Lion Ashwani Sharma LC BPA was honoured as 3rd best cashier and Lion mjf Surinder Kumar Jaidka of the LC BPA was honoured with Ist best PRO.As per earlier practice the banners displayed by the LC BPA were declared as the best banners and club was honoured with best banner award, Club scrap book was declared the best scrap book of LC BPA and was honoured with best Scrap Book award. LC BPA was honoured with best club of the region award,best projects done by the club award was given to LC BPA ,Lion DR VC luthra was honoured as best lion of the year and Lion Mjf Surinder Jaidka was honoured with shining star award ,LC BPA was honoured with sight first award as the club organised eye camp and 80 patients were operated for cataracts free of cost which is the major project of the club.The club members present in the house decided to work hard in the coming years to keep the lionism up. In this way various clubs under this region were honoured .In the end club members their family members enjoyed the dinner arranged by the Region Chairperson.

To day is Holi / International Womenday Lions club BPA organised as per direction of the District Governor Mjf Lion Preet Kanwal Singh its 2nd Van Utsav.Lion Sukhmander Singh ZC and other lion members started planting tree in Shiva walled colony Moga Road Bagha Purana. Club wants that tree planted should be under care and supervision of a person so that its growth should be smooth.Lion Sukhnandan Aggarwal President LC ,Lion Dr V C Luthra secy LC appealed to all members to plant tree in vaccat land where the plants may easily take growth.To keep the environment free from pollution it is very necessary to plant tree.Lion members assured that they will plant tree individually. Club have a great ambition for tree plantation and looking for a safe space for this.Lion members enjoyed holi in colony and planted trees.Lion mjf Surinder Jaidka,Lion Pawan Thukral (Sonu)Lion Nirbha Singh Dr Ashish Luthra lion Darsha Gupta joined the project .
