Traffic Awareness Project on 15 April b day of Lion mjf Dr M L Setia Lion mjf Charanjit Singh PDG Lion T N Grover PDG and Project at Budh Singh Wala on april 1 honouring of students in opted school

LC Bagha Purana celebrated April 15 as Traffic Awareness Project on eve of birthday of Lion mjf Charanjit Singh PDG Lion Tirloki Nath Grover PDG and Club Member Lion Mjf Dr M L Setia. Club President Lion Sant Ram Bhandari along with Lion Sukhmander Singh Secy Lion Dr Baljit Singh President 2015-16 Lion G S Dhillon Secy 2015-16 greeted a senior lion member of the club Lion Mjf Dr M L Setia at his clinic on his birthday. Lion Dr ML Setia joined and enjoyed birthday celebrations.Lion mjf Charanjit Singh PDG and Lion Tirloki Nath PDG were greeted on telephone by lion mjf Surinder Jaidka PRO..The team on eve of birthday of Lion mjf Charanjit Singh PDG Lion Tirloki Nath PDG and club member Lion mjf DR ML Setia birthday organised Traffic Awareness Project in the Main Chownk Bagha Purana. The Direction Board showing ways to all directions was properly fixed in centre of chownk.It helps the running traffic passing through Bagha Purana. It was got repaired painted smoothly for clear vision .Lion Sant Ram Bhandari and his team requested passing vehicles to adopt rules for proper driving to avoid accidents,Students on motor Cycle/Activa were advised to bear helmet while driving. Lion Sukhmander Singh told Club had already affixed reflectors on various vehicle in a heavy fog season.It proved very usefull .He said club with the help of Traffic Police will organise another camp to guide the peoples driving vehicles on the road.Lion Dr Baljit Singh Lion Gurmail Singh Secy year 2015-16 assured that club projects for welfare of peoples will be organised regularly.Lions Club had already orgained one more Project on April 1 2015 which could not be posted,That Project was orgainded at Baba Ujaggar Singh Govt,High School Budh Singh Wala. As the school is adopted by the club and on declarion of resulat of various classes students were honoured by Lion Sant Ram Bhandari President and his team in the school.Students who gained posion ist 2nd 3rd were honoured by giving club memento.Lion Sukhmander Singh Secy in his address praised the students who were honoured,He appealed to students to work hard and in future such practice will be carried out.S,Perminder Singh Headmaster and staff thanked lions Club for adopting the school.He in his adress said club has given full attention towards school.All requirements were honoured by the club.He said students moral will be high as club has honoured brillian students.Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi Dr V C Luthra Dr Baljit Singh Lion Parmod Kataria Lion G S Dhillon joined the function organised today.

A great loss to lions family Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi no more in this world

April 5 2015 in the morning shocking sad news heared that lion Jagroop Singh Jassi an active worker of the club and a known social worker in the locality Bagha Purana expired in road acccident near Bathinda.News spresd in the city and shaked the whole city.He was also a yoga teacher in the area having followers in the city.Lion Delegates were attending Pride Confrence at Manali .On hearing the news they could not stay there and started back journey to Bagha Purana leaving all the scheduled programmes they framed at Manali. Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi along with elder brother of club Treasurer  Lion Parmod  Kataria while returing after attending marriage met with acccident near Bathinda. Lion Parmod Kataria with officials of LC BPA was attending Manali Distt conference,On hearing the news club delegates returned back as Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi was no more alive .Lions Club BPA and residents were shocked on hearing the news.Lion Jassi had two daughters one in Canada settled.On arrival of his daughter he was cremated to day 7 April in Moga Road Shamshan Ghat.Lion President Lion Sant Ram Bhandari President of the club and members mourn the sudden death of lion member who served in the lionism for a very long period.He joined with club Project on 1 April 2015 in club opted school Baba Ujaggar Singh Govt,High School Budh SinghWala It was his last project presence,Lions Club sent sad news in Distt 321f .Lion members/LClubs sent sympathy messages to club and his family members.LC BPA thanks lions/Lion clubs who has shown sympathy with a lion .
