Lion Club Bagha Purana celebrated to day 13 Jan as birthday of founder of Lionism Melvin Jones. Born in 1879 and died on 1961 at the age of 82 years.Reliable sources indicate on June 7 1917 Lions club Intrnational was formed.He served lionism for a long time.His servises to lionism played great role.Lions adopt Melvin Jones Fellow ship in which donation of 1000 dollars is paid.This amount is used for the welfare projects of lionism.Almost over the world lions are playing major roles in the field.Sight First Projects giving relief to peoples creating another life by giving vision in his eyes.Lions are doing all efforts in all sectors starvation floods sunamies earthquakes medical check up sugar awareness cancer awareness approaching to the deep palaces .This is all due to the creation of lionism by Melvin Jones.Lions Club Bagha Purana had three MJF Lion mjf Dr M L Setia Lion mjf Surinder Jaidka Lion mjf Ashok Bansal,Club is proud of them for the contribution in lionism. Club President Lion Sant Ram Bhandari said on the birthday ceremony in which lion member joined to follow the path of Lionism shown by Melvin Jones.LC BPA is doing all welfare projects in the area .Club has given services for the cataracts operation in maximum numbers. He said we will continue for organising maximum projects to keep lionism up. He thanked lions of the club for the regular services towards lionism.
