On the start of the new year 2015 Punjab was gripped in cold waves and it was too cool in atmosphere. Temp. was too lower Lions Club decided to donate winter coates at Birdh Ashram at Guruduwara Baba Tega Singh Chand Purana. This birdh Ashram is being look after by the Baba Gurdeep Singh and was founded by late Sant Baba Nachattar Singh. Old age persons who have no support in their homes are residing here with the hope they will be treated as at home here.Various NGO donates for the welfare of these persons. The Club member Lion Mohan Lal Arora and Lion Pawan Thukral runing clothes business offered ready made new winter coats for them.Club President Lion Sant Ram Bhandari, Lion Sukhmander Singh Secy,Lion Parmod Kataria Cashier Lion Jagroop Singh Jassi,Lion Gauri Shanker.Lion Mohan Lal Arora Lion Pawan Thukral reached at Birdh Ashram and joined people in Ashram..They were wished happy New Year and offered winter coates to them.They felt very happy and thanked Lion Club members.Sant Baba Gurdeep Singh praised the Lions Club for the same.Lion Sant Ram Bhandari President said club will visit the ashram in future also.Club members were happy and hope to do such public welfare projects in the year 2015.
